General scope

The SCC 41 (standards Coordinating Committee) is in charge of developping standards related to cognitive and opportunist radio, and more procesily on dynamic spectrum access networks. Its objective is to improve the use of spectrum, control the interference level, optimize the coordination of different wireless technologies including network management and information sharing.

The SCC 41 is a generalisation of the standard IEEE 802.22. It is composed of 6 working groups:

Working groups

1900.1

Standard Definitions and Concepts for Spectrum Management and Advanced Radio System Technologies

1900.2

Recommended Practice for Interference and Coexistence Analysis

1900.3

Standard for Assessing the Spectrum Access Behavior of Radio Systems Employing Dynamic Spectrum Access Methods

1900.4

Standard for Architectural building blocks enabling network-device distributed decision making for optimized radio resource usage in heterogeneous wireless access networks

1900.5

Standard on Policy Language and Policy Architectures for Managing Cognitive Radio for Dynamic Spectrum Access Applications

1900.6

Standard on interfaces and data structures for exchanging spectrum sensing information for dynamic spectrum access systems
