SDR4All client for opportunist access to UHF bands

The objective of this demonstration of how to use the SDR4All server to test some algorithms for blind detection of DVB signals into the UHF bands.

1. What is required for this demo

For running this demo on your computer, you need:
  • An USRP with a TVRX daughterboard
  • The SDR4All driver for USRP and Windows : will soon be available on SDR4All.eu
  • The SDR4All server : will soon be available on SDR4All.eu

2. How does it work ?

The client works as follows. For each UHF channel:
  1. 100000 samples of a signal are recorded.
  2. A cost function that test if this signal is a DVB signal is computed
  3. The cost function value is used to update the interface
The DVB detection is performed by testing the presence of the cycle prefix. We recall that the cycle prefix in OFDM signals induce a correlation with can be used to perform the detection.

Source code will be available soon on SDR4All.eu

3. Demonstration
