FlexRadio FLEX-5000A

1. Generalities

FlexRadio is a software defined radio with an interface to the host PC based on FireWire (instead of USB). An alternative version exists, the FLEX-5000C, with an embedded PC.

The originality of this products is the software to which it is connected: Power SDR. This soft is open source so that radio amator can update it and share their programs.

Nevertheless, note that this product is very expensive compared to the alternative ones.
